Homemade Ice Cream & Bakery Café - Noblesville: Reviews & Ratings
The best part of Homemade is the ice cream and baked goods. Absolutely delish. My soup tasted like it came from a can, and the cranberry blue cheese salad was good. The French dip is pretty good as well. There is a nice fireplace, good wood, and lots of convenient shopping heavy making this one of my fav places.
Homemade sugar cookies are amazing. Our grandson graduated from FHS this past weekend. He chose Homemade graduation cap sugar cookies. As he has determined they are the BEST sugar cookies. Even above his Nana's. All of our family and friends agreed they were the best. Thank you "Homemade" for delicious graduation treats.
Super cute new restaurant for lunches or even maybe breakfast. The staff is welcoming and are patient when taking new orders. The unique part of the restaurant is that inside is a bakery which sells amazing cupcakes and cakes. Would highly recommend buying a birthday cake from here or coming for lunch. Happy this replaced the old place that used to be there. Definitely and improvement!
My wife and I actually used Homemade for our wedding cakes, both our couple's-cake and guest cakes, when we got married this year. The end-result cakes were fantastic and a MUCH better value that 99% of the other cake options we looked at. Overall we spent about $200 for our couple's cake, and 4 half-sheet cakes for guests. At other places you'd be spending $200 on the couple's cake ALONE, never mind the rest. We ended up with 2 of the half-sheet cakes going uneaten, and we had about 100 guests. This is NOT a criticism of Homemade, just some context for folks who might assess their mileage and learn from our experience.
We have door dashed this at least 5 times and I finally went in person yesterday. It was so good that I brought my whole family today. Delicious, friendly staff, and family friendly! Btw the cakes are out of this world delicious!
You order at counter. Being my first time., I can see now that I should have had a bit of help. My soup was so thick. It was like pudding. Lobster bisque. My croissant looked amazing. But was so dry. I only ate about half of each. No condiments were offered. Drinks and food were delivered to table. But no refills were ever offered. My lunch partners soup was heavenly. Tomato basil I believe. Based on this experience I will not return. It's on the expensive side. Lunch combo of croissant and cup of soup. 2 waters $28 before tip just to deliver to table. I gave review stars based on if I had known more about how this place worked, I could have ordered more to my taste. I am sure my croissant would have tasted much better with a bit of mustard or mayo. There was no help for my soup. But the tomato basil was perfection. There are way to many options in this town to repeat poor experiences. Sorry. But this one will not be on my let's do this again list.
We stopped in yesterday after having lunch just down the sidewalk. We weren’t even in the store for 10 seconds and a gentleman greeted us with such kindness, enthusiasm to help, and care! We live just over two hours away and we were in town for my daughter’s appointment. She’s been extremely nervous for this appointment over the past few weeks and stopping in at homemade and having the amazing interaction with the gentleman that worked there meant so much to her and made her feel better! She got to sample some ice cream and we left with her favorite, as well as cookies, an upside down cupcake, and slice of pie. She woke up this morning asking to go back to see her friend and get more ice cream! THANK YOU for being so caring The sweets are great too!
I frequent this place often, eating in has always been great! However to -go orders of soup are really hit or miss the last few months! A bowl is almost $8, at least fill it up! I’m not one to do reviews but it’s not consistent at all.
